[iOS] Landscape mode on iPhone

Hello folks!

Since we just released "Landscape Mode on Android" and we marked the idea as "implemented", we wanted it to be fair with iPhone users (half of the comments were supporting Android half iPhone) so we have created this idea just for you iPhone users!

We have also added half of the kudos to be entirely fair.

Why this idea isn’t important?? I use my Spotify in iOS 75% of the time in my car and i need the landscape mode!

Please, add it to the priority list. 

We have a VW Up and the dock is only able to put your phone horizontal. So it is frustrating to use Spotify. For passenger and driver. And both not safe. 

Make ASAP the app and car mode also for horizontal mode. So VW Up drivers can use it! 

i consider to use Apple Music because the VW up app support  it and can connect tot the Apple Music library and that app can me used horizontal.

I feel that it's really lame that this feature isn't available - after so many users asking for so many years how can it not be at the top of the development list? I just subscribed to premium a few days ago and this is one of the first things I was looking for... "Not right now" doesn't cut it anymore - looking at alternatives 😕

La opcion de pantalla horizontal para android no está activa en todas laa pantallas de la aplicacion. No funciona en la pantalla de reproduccion, y si en el resto, lo cual es bastante molesto. Gracias

I think now its Time to implement this idea.

The Reason is the new Car View.

If i use Spotify while driving my car and have to switch between Navigation and Spotify i have to rotate my iPhone.

I love the new car view feature because its easier to use Spotify while driving but rotating my phone sucks and using the Navigation in portrait mode sucks also.

The secound reason is that it is not timely in 2019 to not have a landscape implementation for an app like spotify.

So please Spotify implement Landscape for iOS i will alpha test this implementation.

Especially in drive mode, when my map is also in landscape mode, Spotify should also be in landscape. 🙏

The display in landscape format is absolutely necessary for the entire display of the chapter in audio books.

By the way, Spotify developers, have you noticed the speakers on the sides of the newest iPhones? They can play songs in STEREO now! It would be so great to be able to control my Spotify playlists horizontally (as People do with Apple Music...).

Since this feature has not been implemented since 2013, I doute it will ever be done. I'm considering leaving you for that reason.

What can be so difficult about implementing landscape? The fact that your iOS developers don't even want to think about it is not only disappointing, it borders on refusal to work! Even poorly programmed free apps come with landscap and my favorite app of all places doesn't want to be able to do that! I just don't understand it!
