[iOS] Landscape mode on iPhone

Hello folks!

Since we just released "Landscape Mode on Android" and we marked the idea as "implemented", we wanted it to be fair with iPhone users (half of the comments were supporting Android half iPhone) so we have created this idea just for you iPhone users!

We have also added half of the kudos to be entirely fair.

Come on Spotify,

There is a large community (paying users) that wants landscape op their IPhone.

think about safety in the car for people who have a horizontal phone mount.

I feel like there should be a Landscape mode for the Spotify mobile app. Whenever I am charging my phone I use a stand that my case has and I can’t use Spotify in an upright position because of my stand. I feel like a good solution to this would be adding a landscape mode to the Spotify app so that when I turn my phone everything turns to adjust the direction of the phone. Thank You

Maybe they want us to buy an iPad and use that one on our cars as the iPad has Landscape mode...

Seriously, why won’t you implement this for iPhone users? You could at least give us a freaking answer instead of “Not Right Now”. We pay you, the least you could do is give what you claim yourself to be half of your users an answer as to why we can’t get what your Android users have. This is absolutely pathetic.

It’s very hard to grasp why iPhone users still need to beg for what has got to be a ridiculously straightforward and easy to understand feature needed by everyone driving with their phone in landscape mode. That’s how it works in the factory installed cradle in a VW Up.

Not much point in asking what we think if you don’t do anything about it, left me wondering if Apple Music does it in which case it may be time to dump Spotify, come in get it done, no excuse, get off your backsides.

@ quarryjmiller Apple Music itself doesn't. I tested this out last week. There's a 3rd party app called Marvis that does do it. I wish Spotify had some of Marvis' features.
