[iOS] Landscape mode on iPhone

Hello folks!

Since we just released "Landscape Mode on Android" and we marked the idea as "implemented", we wanted it to be fair with iPhone users (half of the comments were supporting Android half iPhone) so we have created this idea just for you iPhone users!

We have also added half of the kudos to be entirely fair.

I left Spotify this week - fed up.

I thought changing for spotify but  Same problem as Deezer. No lanscape mode for iphone. Must be really hard to code and make it possible??. I don’t understand why Spotify and Deezer don't develop landscape mode for iphone!!!!!!!????????

Spotify has been going on and off with features. I do not expect this kind of immaturity considering the publications about mature software dept. Starting from merging the (+) add to playlist that turned into like. Please focus on the feature robustness rather than new ones. Including the landscape mode, which I think should be available across platforms regardless of OS.

I don't understand why this is such a neglected feature. Spotify keeps cramming all sorts of junk onto the screen but just simply having a landscape mode with a longer progress bar would make it so much easier to scrub through songs more accurately. But Spotify just does flashy updates, like looping videos no one needs, and neglects basic quality of life updates.

I can't believe this isn't implemented yet. A few reasons to implement:

• Very poor experience when iPhone is clamped into a holder. I often have my iPhone clamped into an anchored holder, such as when watching Youtube or using my iPhone as a reference when working on something around the house. If I hear a song in a video, or just want to change what I’m listening to, I either need to take the iPhone out of the clamp for a moment, which is a pain and often not possible (e.g., one hand dirty or holding something I’m working on), or, what usually happens, try to use it sideways, which, among other things, makes using the on-screen keyboard very cumbersome when searching.
• Consistency across platforms. I usually listen either on my Android tablet, always in landscape mode, or my iPhone and switching between them should be a better experience with everything working the same.
• Should be fairly easy. I realize iPhone screens are smaller than iPad screens, but I've seen some screenshots from iPads and the same layout should work on iPhones. It shouldn't be very difficult to implement since they share the same code base.
