[iOS][Other] Going back on queue

Something that has always frustrated me about the queue on Spotify is how you cannot go back to a song after it’s been played on the queue. Sometimes I just want to go back to a song I played on the queue but instead it plays the song or album that I started playing before I started my queue. I don’t want to have to make a playlist for when I just want to listen to a couple albums or a couple songs I know I like. I really hope this can change.

Its been over a year since this was posted, I hope they realize how amazing of a feature this would be. I cant tell you how many times ill add a ton of songs to the queue and then want to move one up but accidentally click the song and all of them get skipped till that song.

Right now I use Spotify Student cause it's cheaper, but once I graduate in April, I have every intention of going back to Amazon Music unless this issue is resolved. Amazon Music's queue system is so much better. It saves your queue in both directions, so you can see what songs were played previously and even scroll up higher in your queue and start again from an earlier point. And of course you can click the back arrow to get to earlier songs, and if you accidentally skip a song you're not just out of luck.

We should be able to go to the previous tracks in the queue rather than them disappearing!

I would like to „rehear“ the songs that I have put in the queue. If I click on one song and then put some in the queue it is not possible to click back and hear the songs from the queue before. Now if I do that I hear the song that I initially clicked on. That would be great 🙂

Whenever you are listening to songs via queuing up individual songs one at a time (likely with people passing the phone for song queue), you should have the ability to 'go back' to a previously queued song. This would be functionally the same as the go back feature that is allowed when listening to a playlist. Accidental skips, mistimed skips at the end of a song, or just wanting to replay a song that just played-there are many reasons as to why people would want to have such a feature. I understand that this would cause some unfriendly user instances when queueing songs mid-an already existing playlist, however, you could just have at least a setting for people to opt in to go back within queues whenever the user is not actively listening to a playlist.

Any news about this? It's making using queues very frustrating
