Can't stream to Google devices

We're seeing reports that some users are unable to stream on their Google devices. This seems to happen on both the desktop & mobile app, as well as on different Google devices.

For a week now, I cannot connect to any Google and nest mini devices. Connection works to other google home devices, including google nest wifi points and a lenovo clock. Clearly, there is something broken. Given there is no customer service here, this is truly a sad experience.

Same here - Spotify premium version 8.9.86.551 and trying to play on google speakers. Wont work at my home network or on my office network. 

Other music streaming apps like BBC music work fine. 

Tried uninstalling and unlinking accounts etc but to no avail.

Just to add my voice to those already on thread, I have exactly the same issues

Had the same issues. Will not start playing but appears connected, so I tried playing it from my Macbook and it worked. Disconnected the Mac and then tried again from the iPhone and it started working.

Since yesterday, my Spotify has stopped working on the various Google Home devices I have at home. At first, I thought the issue was with one of them, then with the iPhone. But that’s not it.

I can’t cast music from either my iPhone or my computer. Spotify opens, but the music doesn’t play. I tried with another Spotify account (and an older iPhone), and it works.

I’ve already unlinked the account, deleted Spotify, and I’m out of ideas.

Can you help?

Can't play music on my Chromecast ultra, tried from phone and PC 😞

Same here (both in web mode and on Android, casting on Chromecast audio). Stopped playing yesterday (24th October) afternoon, moments ago played for a few hours and suddenly stopped again. Tried a different account and it works, doesn't make any sense at all.
