Offline mode turns off when re-opening the app on iOS

We've received reports from iOS users that Offline mode is automatically turning off when the app is closed and re-opened.

Thanks for your patience while we investigated this issue.

 

We're happy to announce that this should now be fixed for everyone - just make sure you're running the latest version of Spotify.

My Question or Issue

The offline mode option in settings (which requires you to go online every 30 days) used to work normally but after a recent update where they moved it to a different tab, every time i close the app and re open it it defaults back to off, even if i had it on before. This is annoying because i’m used to it on offline mode and if it’s online it will use my mobile data which will drain my battery.

Mi pregunta o problema

Al activar el modo offline en la app me aparece abajo que este ha sido activado, pero al cerrar la aplicación y volverla a abrir me aparece el modo offline desactivado como si nunca lo hubiera puesto, esto me estresa porque me consume datos cuando no quiero que lo haga, para algo pago premium para tener mi música descargada y que no me consuma datos

Has anyone had any issues with the new iOS version 9.0.36 of the app. Ever since I downloaded it 6 days ago. If I want to listen to music on my phone I have to go to the web page. The app is completely blank and frozen.

I am having the same issue, pretty annoying don’t need my mobile data used up. Some compensation would be nice.

Same issue, please fix asap or else Spotify is useless for me.... 

If this is a new feature to force people into a family plan, i am leaving spotify for good
