Premium users hearing ads in music

We've received reports that active Premium users are hearing ads interrupting their music listening experience.

Hey folks,

 

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

 

This should now be fixed. If you're still having issues, remember to log out of the app and back in again 2-3 times in a row in order to force a resync.

Yes, I was just logging in to see why this is happening as of today. I double checked and per the user agreement "premium" accounts do NOT have ads which is why I pay for premium. Spotify, please respond. thank you

This is just a broken Spotify Ad, seems that the Spotify team deleted the resource but forgot to delete the ad.

This just started to happen to me today, seems like this issue is still not fixed, which is annoying. I pay to not have ads, so maybe they should refund those of us who have premium and are still getting ads, for this month?

I was not able to fix this by logging out manually, but resetting the 2FA forced a logout on all devices, and after that it was fixed for me.

I have done all that is recommended. Login, logout 2-3x. Uninstall, reinstall the app. Nothing works.  Its been several days now!  I'm paying for premium,  I don't want ads.  Do I get a refund?! LOL

give us a refund bruh this is legitimately unacceptable, this should be illegal if we don’t get our money back
