My Question or Issue
Hello, I have encountered a bug with Spotify. Reproduction Steps:
1. Open Spotify.
2. Play any song.
Actual Result: The song time initially shows 8 seconds.
Expected Result: The song time should start at 0 seconds.
Additional Information: This issue is particularly annoying when using the lyrics feature, as the lyrics are synchronized with the song time and display lyrics 8 seconds ahead. This desynchronization makes it difficult to follow along with the lyrics.
Thank you for looking into this issue.
Hey @WASP-21b,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.
To investigate this issue further, would you mind confirming if you've already tried to reinstall the app on your TV? If not, we'd recommend giving it a try to see if it makes any difference.
If the issue persists, could you check with a different Wi-Fi network to see if the song starts at 0:00? If you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile data hotspot to test it.
Lastly, it would be great if you could have someone log in with their account on your TV - such as a friend or a family member, to see if the issue persists.
Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
Hello @OscarDC,
Thank you for the response.
Today I have checked it once more and now behavior is a bit different (Checked using two different accounts and internet connection)
Now timer song starts when music was playing 2 sec and it goes like 2 sec behind until I press pause - at thet moment song time increases for 8-9 sec. Then if I press pause it decreases for 1-2 sec then play and again the same 8-9 sec more than originally it should be. You can see it on the video.
Appreciate the cooperation @WASP-21b!

Hello, sorry was a bit busy last few months.
I know how important is to provide as many details as possible since I'm not able to share app logs for Spotify devs.
Only the thing that I'm not sure what exactly I can provide additionally to my previous messages. Could you please help me and provide some questions what answers will be helpful for your team?
Hey @WASP-21b,
Thanks for the reply and no worries!
You can find all the requested info here - you should be able to see it above the replies in the thread in a pink square. I can see that you've mentioned trying some of the steps already, but do mention that again in the other thread just for additional info.
Thanks for the cooperation ✌️
