Compensation for artists?

I've been having the same issue. Last week, I DM'ed the Spotify Cares Twitter account about it, and the person on the other end kept mentioning how "odd" and "peculiar" it is that my list hadn't updated in over three weeks. "Have you signed out and signed back in?" "Are you running the latest version?" And then I come here and find it is likely a known issue. I checked yesterday and my list finally updated. These lags lead me to wonder if Spotify is even keeping track of my listens to send royalties to artists. (I know it's a pittance, but it's how the program is supposed to work.)
