Only several songs are played, other do not work

My Question or Issue

Most of the songs cannot be played, although the wifi works well and I am not in offline mode. The only songs which I can listen to are those which I like or are downloaded. I tried it on two different devices, restarted the app, logged out. Nothing worked. What shall I do?

Thanks for reaching out. Could you try performing a clean reinstall on both devices. If the issues persist, please send us some screenshots or a video of the behaviour. If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.

Offline mode is turned off and i can play all my downloded songs just fine but i can't view the artist, lyrics, or other undownloaded albums/playlists despite actually being online. There is no banner within spotify itself which says it is offline either.

Thanks for reaching out.

What device does this happen on? Make sure that the app has access to your internet connection and check if you can view the content in the web player.

It's also worth performing a clean reinstall of the app, just keep in mind that you'll need to re-download your offline music afterwards.
