Sound Capsule not updating properly

Hey folks! 

You may have noticed that your Sound Capsules may not be updating properly! 

This is on our radar and it's being looked into 🙂

Hello, Dessi i am running the latest version of spotify still my sound capsule is not updating at all and even counting listening time not updating artists information anything yet it says its updating but its not.

Hey again!
I tried updating and reinstalling the app to see if it worked. Unfortunately, it still doesn't record the total time I've spent listening to music. It shows a value considerably less than what it should be, as I usually have music on almost all the time when I'm working.

@Prithvi21 - Just to confirm, does the issue persist after trying the troubleshooting steps (such as a clean reinstall of the app)? If so, could you let us know the make, model and OS version of your device, along with the exact Spotify version?

 

And @ssnair610 - are you still running app version 9.0.36.697 as mentioned earlier here? It would be great if you could double-check the current version and let us know the exact one you're using.

 

We'll pass these details on to the right team so it can be looked into further!

In case the issue persists for others as well, it'd be great if you can try the troubleshooting steps suggested in the thread and send us the following so our tech folks can look into this:

  • The make and model of the affected device.
  • Its OS version
  • The exact Spotify version you're running.

We'll be on the lookout.

My Question or Issue

My sound capsule is not updating, the last update to it was on 5th september 2025, it has been 3 days, I have tried clearing the cache and logging in and out of the app. The app version is 9.0.74.1123

Hello

i did a clean install of the app and cleared cache too, it hasn’t worked for me yet

 I’m running ios 18.6.2 and Spotify version 9.0.74.1123

Soundcapsule hasn't updated since last 2 days. I just cleared the cache and reinstalled the latest version.My device is Samsung M52. Please solve the issue.
