Spotify Connect to longer working on Samsung N-950 soundbar

My Question or Issue

End last year I bought the Samsung N-950 soundbar and one of the reasons was it supported Spotify Connected, what it did and was working fine. However it's not working anymore, checked it technicaly and all is ok (other audio streaming services working) also on the latest firmware. Then I saw on the Samsung forum that I'm not the only one with this issue. Also what's seem to be weird if I go the the Spotify website to check the supported devices the soundbar isn't listed. Has Spotify canceled support or is this a pure hardware issue that Samsung should fix with an firmware upgrade?

Same soundbar, same problem. It sometimes work from the Spotify app for Windows.

Must be a firmware issue but no idea how to push Samsung to correct it.
