My Question or Issue
I don't have the new Lossless option on any of my devices. App has been updated to the latest on all, still not there.
Your own AI help System said it should be on Family Premium yet I am not seeing it.
Yes I am looking in the right place, where you change the quality, the highest I have is 'Very High' which is not new.

It’s a gradual roll out between now and October, also it is random who gets it and when, so your friends may get it before you do.
I’m also UK, and I do not have it yet, it’s just a case of checking regularly and having some patience 🙂
Hey folks @niknak82, @2kt2m_nt-xx5p, @michaeljefford,
Thanks for posting in the Community!
Lossless is still in the process of rolling out and that's why your relatives/friends might already have it. Not everyone sees the same thing at the same time, but we're hoping to roll out lossless more broadly soon, so stay tuned.
Make sure to keep Spotify up-to-date and you can check out this blog post for more info about lossless if you've not already done so.
In the meantime, we're here if there's anything else we can help with 🙂

I have the same issue. My family members all have the lossless option and I miss the option on any of my devices. My account is the main/admin account.

Nice one thanks. I was half expecting to see something like that mentioned on the Spotify pages regarding the feature but as I couldn't see it, I just assumed it was already rolled out. That's good to know, thanks!
Awesome thanks, I look forward to trying it out and ditching my Qobuz account hopefully.
Exactly the same for me. Admin in the family plan and the only one not to have it. Sucks.
app is up to date and same version as others in family.
My understanding is that the roll out is server side, so I suppose it will just show up in media settings at some point. I can say, Bluetooth audio, which does not take full advantage of lossless, already sounds so amazing. Great job, Spotify!
Same dude. It sucks!
How will you know when you have the lossless option? I have Tidal in my Tesla and it shows a hi-fi icon next to it
I ditched Qobuz too for the lossless or hi res on Spotify and I have been on it, but even a week after hearing, like were aliens where I am located or living under a rock even with awesome internet connection or data on the phone. They say roll out but it is more like longer than waiting for an Android OS update. Daily and multiple times daily listening to music, and it is like Spotify people know I would like it, so they hold it from me. Say roll out again, and no matter how many times you say it, it is the slowest process around. That is how they update Android OS too. They said into October, not till October. So, it could take the end of October before all get it. That is slow.
Instead of this blind rollout, you should let people that actually want it come to a page like this and click a get it now button. Seems stupid that [edited by Mod] that doesn't even use the app has lossless and the people that actually want it can't have it.
The Lossless help page makes no mention of the fact that it might not be available yet. That is false advertising.
See here -
Bottom of the page says -
‘Lossless is rolling out gradually to more than 50 markets through October. Premium subscribers in Australia, Austria, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, the US, and the UK have already started to get access.’
It is still rolling out, and states some
users in the above countries have started to get access. It doesn’t say everyone now has access.
I was referring to this page:
what a stupid way to tile introduce something. Glad I spend most of my time on Tidal, they ve had lossless for years
nothing yet, here in the US, anyway
Like many others here, I am the account holder - all the rest of my family subaccounts have Lossless enabled, apart from me, the account holder. This seems like a big coincidence if it's just a result of the gradual rollout, since they all got lossless on exactly the same day (not that any of them care). This is so frustrating when I pay for the service, want lossless, and all the sub-accounts have it when they have no interest in it anyway.
I am in Washington, DC, where lossless has already rolled out. I upgraded to a Premium Family subscription from Basic Family specifically for lossless audio and yet can't access it on any of my devices (desktop app, iPhone)...very frustrating. When is Spotify going to fix this?
