Neil Young and Joni Mitchell have thrown their hats in the ring in support of fascism. Spotify didn't remove them, they proposed an ultimatum and Spotify responded as any reasonable person would to an unreasonable ultimatum. They told them they could leave if they wished, but they don't decide who can say what and where. 

Anyone who supports Joe's deplatforming and, ultimately, his blacklisting because he has conversations with people who don't agree with the "science" tm are authoritarian garbage people..

I'm already feeling the sting of the missing music.   I hardly ever listen to podcasts but am a big music enthusiast.   I don't know the solution but I want it on record that if I can't get enough of the music I want from a service then I will stop paying for it.

Your comments are disinformation.  Have you received any data review from anyone in the government on why other treatments can't work to treat COVID, or what adverse events are occurring with the Vax's, NO!  Because they don't have the studies or data to show it for the treatments; and they don't want you to know.  For the Vax's they want 75 years before you can see the data.  You are just a useful **bleep** being dosed as many times as they want to jab you. I would totally agree. If you want talk, pay for it!! If you want music, that should be a different account. Why should I have to pay for a talk show, pay more to the musical artists, not purveyors of BS!!

I am currently trialling other streaming services. As soon as I find the right one I’m cancelling my Spotify account - unless Joe Rogan goes.

Actually, Neil Young and Joni Mitchell chose to leave Spotify. They were not censored by Spotify. So if you need to hate, hate them.

I don’t care what music you listen to. I care if you’ve actually listened to Joe Rogan’s podcasts and can cite a single example of “misinformation” or an “anti- vax” stance. For someone who listens to metal, I would hope that you would see the dangers of censorship and question the corporate messaging that’s keeping you from considering other points of view.

@spotify quit your 100-Million-dollar-deal with this conspiracy ther(r)orist. As already mentioned, there are a lot of other streaming services and exporting playlists is easy as a click. I guess even Apple Inc. acts a little bit more responsible than you. Maybe they`ll have a promo code "LeavingJoe2022" soon?

You’re missing the point. The U.S. surgeon general is pressuring Spotify to cancel Joe Rogan. The current administration has urged tech companies to police their platforms and suppress “misinformation”. That’s the definition of fascism. You accept these tactics now- because you want to feel safe, but it spells disaster for personal freedom and expression. China has a social credit system and censors everything. Only one point of view- the government’s- is allowed. We are headed that way if we don’t stand up for free speech now. Why are you threatened by people sitting down together and sharing their ideas, expertise and experiences?

I also cancelled my subscription when I learned this platform is spending millions to support podcasters instead of musicians. I might return if they change their policies and get back to supporting the music community  in the future. Podcasters have many other platforms available to them and can attract their own sponsors, they don’t need to take a large cut of the fees we pay to hear good music.

Agreed. I have no qualms to drop Spotify Premium & go to another music streaming service if this travesty isn't rectified in some way, shape or form.
