Discount Family Subscriptions!

Before I made the switch from Rdio to Spotify they (Rdio) came up with a pricing model that allowed families to purchase a slightly discounted subscription.  

$9.99 for single unlimited user

$17.99 for 2 family members (20% discount)

$22.99 for 3 family members (50% discount)

Would love to see a similar pricing model so the rest of the family could get in on the action!

I have been a premium user for 5 yeas. Now I can't listen to my music at work if my partner is using spotify at home.

But wait, in the UK the subscription is 9.99 pounds a month, so 5 years of premium is: 5 * 12 * 9.99 = 599.4 !! Almost a 1000$

I could have bought a lot of music that I chould use the way I want for this price. Makes me wonder about spotify...

I would love to see this implemented soon. Without this I dont think I can make a move to Spotify from Rdio.

Yep, this would be great. We have 2 users in the household and mostly want to share the same set of playlists within a single group account, but can't because the login is tied to Facebook and we don't log each other in to our facebook accounts.

So it's not a matter of cost, as much as it is functionality. We only ever play from one device typically at a given time, so the old model where if you started playing somewhere else it shut down the player on another device was fine. That seems to be gone since we were forced to go to FB logins instead of Spotify Details logins.

Why is Spotify Family only available for Telia customers?

Is there a plan to expand it to other customers?

I completely agree with the need for a family membership, it would be nice itf this is going to happen you could just merge 2 pre-existing accounst as well so we wouldn't have to remake playlists.

I am really starting to get frustrated with not having a family plan. I would DEFINITELY sign up for one, and may consider cancelling my premium account if one isn't offered fairly soon.

Love your service. This seems like a no-brainer. Please make it happen for non-Spring Framily soon!
