Hi,

I have recently cancelled my bank card due to it going missing!
I have ordered a new card and waiting for it to arrive in the mail.
At this same time my account was due for payment... how do i make sure my account doesnt get cancelled becasue i can not pay it with in the next few days!

How long is the period of missed payment?

Hello @pennos93

Check your account page to see when your premium subscription is ending.

Once that date comes, your account will revert back to Spotify Free.

If it's individual Premium, I suggest to buy a giftcard for you to use in your account before your current subscription ends. If it's a Family subscription, you'll have to wait for the new card to arrive to resubscribe.

Hope it helps. 🙂

If didn't work, after I went to subcription, it just show this message;

Premium for Family

Your account is part of a family plan, please refer to the Premium for Family owner to manage your plan.

This is no change payment detail.

I need to give you a new card numbers.  Help.

Hey @wablack

Do you get email receipts for your subscription purchases? Search for one of them in your email account. In it, the Spotify username you're paying for is shown:

Username/ID: xxxxxxx

You can login to the website with that username to check the status of your subscription, and your receipts.

In there you should be able to update your payment info.

Hope it helps. 🙂

Hello

I had to cancel my debit card as there was a fraud incident. I am on holiday in South Africa and will only be able to get my new card when back in the UK on the 23rd of April. Spotify has sent me a message aying that I will lose Spotify Premium in a few days. I want to pay for this but therefroe Spotify needs to go through my bank acount and not though my registered crd details as this one is cancelled now. How can I set this up?

Thanks

JD Du Preez

There is no option to select change payment under subscription

hello, I cannot access my account page to change my payment info. when I click on account it states the page is not available.

Hey @ssaliakonneh

You should try with a different browser, or open a private window (incognito mode), and see if that does it.

Also, try in a different device (computer, tablet, etc.) or try using it in a different network.

Hope it helps. 🙂

Hi,

I am trying to change the country (it appears in light gray and does not let me change it) I tryed cancelling the suscription and it does not let me anyway...

I tryed changing my credit card but once I do it it does not allow me as my new credit card and country must match! but I cannot change the country!

HEEEELP please

Hi,

I need to change the credit card settings.

I'm in "Subscription" but I can't find any UPDATE  button.

I can click only on CHANGE OR CANCEL; clicking on it I can only change my plan.

Please advise ..

Thanks

I had to cancel my subscription and apply again.

Dumb don't know why Spotify doesn't fix this,

Indeed I have the same problem, did you solve it? I have tried many time to change it but it was impossible

Unfortunately there's no way around it, and Spotify isn't concerned. You
can let it expire and then sign up for premium. Or cancel it and sign up
again. Ridiculous.

**bleep**! That coulnd't be possible. They should take care of this soon. Absolutly ridiculous!

Thank you!

I know, it's really strange, it's a simple fix. People just don't care!

Finally solved it finding the proper link on an old post.

https://www.spotify.com/payment/change

I keep trying to change my card info but it just gives me the option to change my country, not my card's information.

When I click on Subscriptions, the menu does not include "payment details" or anything like that.
