My Question or Issue

I gave platelets the other day and got a digital gift card from it. I chose a $12 spotify gift card and it, for whatever reason, got put in my "Google Wallet". It has a code on it, but it's not long enough for the redemption site to take it. I was wondering if it's my end or if I put it on my phone incorrectly and now it doesn't work. The code was just for individual premium for one month.

The code you mentioned isn’t a standard Spotify Gift Card code, which is why it isn’t working on the redemption page.

Since it ended up in Google Wallet, it’s most likely been issued as Google Play store credit rather than a Spotify voucher.

You can try using it for Premium by paying through Google Play Billing in the Spotify mobile app.

If that doesn’t work, the best next step is to reach out to the company who provided the reward and ask them for a proper Spotify Premium redemption code. They’re the ones who can hopefully sort out the correct format. 🙂
