Google Home Mini Offer Charged Me

So....I tried getting the 'free' Google Home Mini. Was charged. Full price. Any help her support team? I'm guessing it's because my order took too long- I was waiting on a text back from my wife. But I need assistance because I totally qualify and I definitely have NOT gotten my mini, despite it repeatedly telling me I had already gotten one when I go back in and try to redo the order.

 

Thanks....a phone number would be great Spotify. That way you could avoid public posts like this for support.

If you completed the checkout process and were charged full price for your Google Home Mini, we recommend following Google’s returns guidelines to get a refund.

 

If you're seeing that your code has already been used, could you try the following steps:

  1. Open the link in the email from Spotify to redeem your device
  2. If that doesn't work, try opening it:
    1. in an incognito window
    2. in a different browser
    3. from a different device
  3. Alternatively, you can go here and enter the code manually.

Same thing happened to me. It charged me, so I cancelled my order. Now my promo code is used and I can't try to re-order. Help would be appreciated Spotify.

 

edit: tried again and the discount worked.

I've been emailing them to no avail so far....

 Sent screenshots of every step. No luck. 

I tried again and the discount applied. I did the exact same steps, so I'm not sure what got knocked loose this time around.

Glad it worked, unfortunately no such luck for me. Support is refusing to even answer my emails now and have stopped responding.

Same happened to me, except it won't let me try again. It thinks my code was used, even though I canceled the order because it charged me.

My Question or Issue

 

I'm trying to sign up for the Google home mini free offer, and I can get through all the prompts okay. But at the end of the process the device is not free it's still $49. I have some screenshots. Any ideas?

In order to receive my free google home mini, it states that there is a code that is supposed to be used to redeem it? I got an email from Spotify with a link to connect my google account to my Spotify. I proceeded to the checkout after selecting my mini and now it is charging at the full price? miniii.pngminii.png

It still thinks my promo code was used previously, even when going through
an incognito window. Same effect. I do appreciate the response, and hope to
have a resolution!

I am facing the same issue here. I paid for the subscription but when i go to the google home mini check-out page it asking me to pay $49 . Can anyone please help me.

I'm also not having any luck re-ordering this offer...

I have the same, it shows 0 cost on the options page when you select the color, then in the cart it is $49. Knew it was too good to be true.

Same here. No code. Changes to $49 in the cart.

I was able to find a solution. This happens if the gmail account  is created in a different country. Please all of you who have not changed their gmail country change it to United States and try it again.

I was sent a new promo code by Spotify support that finally helped to make
it work! Thank you!

The cancel order worked, and I got back to able to re-order it, but I'm back in the same situation, getting charged the full $49, cancelled again. I'm thinking I might need one of those promo codes in the end. Support?
