Leaving basic is a one way trip!

My Question or Issue

I recently changed from family basic to family premium, but found I was not interested in audio books. There was one warning when I made that change that it was a one way trip. Now, basic is no longer listed as an option for me. I tried support, and they said they could do nothing about it. I think it would be fair if Spotify explained that such a change is a one way trip when someone is about to do it. It seems shady to just spring it on someone without notice. Disappointed in Spotify.,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

You can find all the details about the Basic plans here. As stated there, Basic is only available for previously existing Premium subscribers and if you cancel your Basic plan, it’s not possible to resubscribe to it.
