I've been trying to purchase spotify premium for a few days now, and every time I enter everything it says
I've tried many times with an AmericanExpress card, and a Visa neither work. Both cards have enough money on them, are active and the credentials are all correct. Any thoughts?

I have the same issue. I've tried:
Different devices.
3 different browsers
Different connections
Cleared cookies
Visa / Paypal with the same error.
Double checked accounts match country and address.
Nothing has worked.
Also having the same issue, spent 30 minutes on the phone with the bank Friday and it’s definitely a problem on spotify’s end. I’ve tried multiple times daily since then and still, with more than enough money in my account, I keep getting the payment failed response. And i’m trying to reverify my student account for the Spotify + Hulu because I got an email that said I had to within 7 days. So I’m **bleep**. I finally emailed support@spotify, see if anything happens. Stuff like this is what makes a company lose customers.

yeah I have the same issue here, neither card or paypal is working and it just says '' Payment failed''.
Still waiting (>12 hours since I was told tech would look into this problem), and no sign of being fixed any time soon. I'm testing out Prime's music through their free trial. Your business is losing customers
Yep same issue. Spotify seemed to just cancel my premium account and revert me to free. Tried to resubscribe and none of the payment options is working.
OK, so I had the same problem. The issue seems to be that Spotify kicked me out, and then wouldn't let me upgrade. BECAUSE the only obvious upgrade was the Introductory Offer. Since I had already been a subscriber, that isn't open to me. So I did find another Year subscribtion offer, and sure enough, it took my payment of $119 for the year. I tried everything else, and also multiple emails from the support team, who apparently can only offer apoligies and not assistance. Worst support ever!
