Hi Levagustin 🙂

Absolutely! Premium subscriptions do allow for offline listening of downloaded songs - anytime, anywhere - no data required.
Once you have downloaded what you want to play offline, I would recommend turning off the cellular setting on your phone (provided that is where you are streaming from).

I am not sure what platform you are using, but on iphone it can be found under the phone Settings>Spotify. This will keep the phone from accessing and using a data connection to stream while allowing you to still listen to music and use your data in other applications. You can also tell Spotify to go offline within the app itself.
Hopefully this helps answer your questions! 🙂

  • Hi,

This may depend on what carrier you use. So, if you use T-Mobile, you can listen to Spotify without counting your data usage, as it doesn’t count against your data.

You may need to contact your carrier against this, to learn more if they have the option to do this. With Spotify Premium, you can download songs, so that you can listen offline, which won’t count against your data.

If you downloaded the song, and listen on data, it shouldn’t count against your data, but it you download new music, depending on your carrier — it may.

You should perhaps turn off your data when you listen to music, so that the background apps don’t burn up your data limts.

And yes, one of the benefits of Premium is listening to Music offline, with no ads! How cool is that?

Cheers!
