I'm in the UK and recently switched from duo premium to duo basic, but Spotify appears to have switched me back without notifying me. What's going on here?

Hey @Milessimonwoo,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

 

In this case, we'd like to add some insights. The change of a plan does not take place immediately if you're already subscribed to Premium. Since you mentioned you made the change while being subscribed to Premium Duo, it's important to keep in mind that the changes will take effect once the time you pay for Duo expires.

 

As such, the plan did not switch to Basic in the first place, rather than staying on the Duo plan. In other words, on your next billing date, your plan is gonna change, and you'll be charged accordingly.

 

If you'd like to know when your next billing date is, you can go to your account page. There, at the top, you can see the type of plan you're subscribed to, your next bill date and, in your case, the plan you'll be charged for next. Nonetheless, if you notice something does not match, please let us know.
