Student Individual to Premium Individual to Basic Individual

Hi, 

I recently had to change my subscription from Student Individual to Premium Individual after four years. I don't listen to audiobooks, so I'd like to cancel this subscription and change to Basic Individual, but it's not listed anywhere. I should be eligible though, right? Or is there a minimum amount of months of Spotify Premium (full price) you need to be able to switch?

Thanks for reaching out. We'll be happy to shed some light on how Basic Premium works. 

To be eligible for the Basic plan, you have to have been continuously on Premium for at least the last few months. If this is the case for you, you should be able to see the Basic plan as an option on the subscription page like so:

1. Log into spotify.com/account.
2. Under Manage your plan, click Change plan.
3. Choose the Basic plan. Make sure to scroll all the way down the list to see if it's there.

If you don't see it, then this probably means that you're not eligible for it, most likely because your account has reverted to free at some point in the last few months. You can double check your payments to double check this.
