My Question or Issue
Liked songs are not syncing between the PC/Web apps and the iPhone/iPad apps.
Liked songs will sync between the PC and web apps.
Like songs will sync between the iPhone and iPad apps.
To test this I used an album where all the songs on the album were set to Liked. This was the same on all the apps, PC, web, iPhone and iPad.
I then removed the Liked status for all songs on the PC app. This change was reflected in the web app but not the iPhone or iPad app.
I cleared the cache for all apps which had no effect.
I uninstalled the app from the iPhone and then reinstalled it. The songs on the iPhone were set to Liked. I watched as the Liked song ticks came on for each song in the album. This still did not reflect the Liked status on the PC app.
I removed the Liked status for one song on the iPhone app. This was immediately reflected in the iPad app but not the PC or web apps.
Thanks,
Toby

Hi Joan,
I'm still experiencing the issue on Spotify for Windows (64 bit) 1.2.62.580.gb27ad23e. This is Windows 10, make is not applicable since it's a desktop machine. Force refresh does not work, also flushing the DNS cache has no effect. If you require any further information you can reply.. I regrettably don't think I will deal with this issue for much longer since Spotify is just not working well for me like this.
I'm having the same issue in the desktop app.
Windows 11 with the latest updates.
Spotify für Windows (64 Bit)
1.2.62.580.gb27ad23e
Same thing happening to me and quiete frequently. It is annoying.
I have added songs to my liked songs in the iOS app. The songs do not appear in Windows desktop app. They do, however, appear in the web app. Any ideas re: a fix?
I am also having a similar issue for about a year only on my iPad, but it's not just song adds that don't sync – nothing does, from preferences to where I am in an audiobook/podcast to creating playlists to adding songs. I have to reinstall the iPad app fresh to get it to update any content and it stays "frozen" at that time of the new install.
I sync Spotify between about 10 devices that all work fine – including ones with VPNs, no background app refresh turned on, etc – but my iPad will never update. I have rebuilt the iPad from scratch multiple times, am not using a VPN, background app refresh is on... yet the only thing that will see the app update is the 50+ times I have reinstalled Spotify from a fresh download, and then waited about 24 hours or so for the locally stored files to re-download as well.

My Question or Issue
So i sat down to make my summer playlist for this year and noticed that my Liked songs-list had less songs than the same list on my phone. There were 34 songs missing to be exact. 16 of them were the ones i just liked the few previous days, the rest are unknown. I am just going on the numbers the list told me. Tried to relog and reinstall but still the same problem. Anybody with similar issues?
Пропали 300 или 400+ песен из плейлиста "Понравившиеся". Как эта хуйня заебала. SoundCloud пора возвращаться...
Нахуц вы лезите обновлять и ломаете все что только можно?
I've had the same issue. What you need to do is force a sync in the playlist, so what works for me is:
- Start playing a song from the playlist you want to sync, from the updated device (the one that has all the songs)
- Sync the devices, so the song that's playing appears on the other device (the one that does not have the songs)
- Remove the song that's playing from the playlist, from the unsynced device
- Add it back on the synced device
By doing this mine updates every time.
Devices:
1. iPhone 14pro with Spotify App with latest IOS
2. Macbook with latest MacOS
Add songs to the library on the phone
Issue:
MacOS Spotify app, signed to the same account - both Spotify and Apple just refuse to sync.
So far these are the steps that do not work

Still not working... I've tried everything, also old "solutions" I found on Reddit. Nothing. It does not sync. My "Liked Songs" playlist on my desktop has 44 more songs by now than the "Liked Songs" playlist on my phone. They are supposed to be synced. Always! Fix it!
Adding additional context here, had this issue on Win10 Desktop app just now. Liked songs did not appear until I fully deleted the folder/user files from Recycling Bin. After signing again my newest likes appeared.
I've had the same issue and it's been happening for months.
Doesn't sync if added on iOS, but syncs fine if I add things on PC.
I've tried everything listed in this thread (and dozens of others in the time I've spent trying to solve it on and off over the past few months).
It seems a bit strange that it can't seem to work, especially when paying for a service such as this you'd expect the bare minimum that it can sync something as simple as a like between devices on the same account.
Version:
Spotify for Windows (64 bit)
1.2.65.255.g85e641b4
Version:
iOS 9.0.50.511
Update: Upon following the initial context added by Jayc above, it does seem to work now, will have to test again after a reboot and in a day or two. But users shouldn't, in my opinion be needing to clean up files in the appdata to make functionality work. While I'm more than comfortable making changes like that, it's not an ideal way to solve a problem for many users.
Hi @benjammin687!
Thanks for posting to the Spotify Community, I’ll try my best to help.
That does sound like a frustrating issue, I would try uninstalling Spotify then restarting your computer and reinstalling Spotify because that sounds like an issue with the app and doing those things usually fixes issues like that. If it doesn’t fix your issue, feel free to reply back and we’ll see what else we can do.
Thanks!
Unfortunately, I've gone down the uninstall/reinstall path several times and that does not seem to fix the issue.
On your PC click the 3 dots in the top left corner of the app. Go to Help > Troubleshooting > Reset App Data and Restart. Click OK on the warning that you will be logged out. Scan the QR code to authorize the login from your phone. When I did this while I was logged into Spotify on my phone, it gave me a prompt that allowed me to "pair" it with my PC and finally my songs were synced up on both phone and PC. Hope this helps.
