[All Platforms] Changing User Profile Background Colors

When using Spotify, you can change your profile but not the color in the background, You might have brown, blue or purple. I currently have brown as my background color, which doesn't work with my profile picture...

Spotify is known for having personalization, it would be cool if spotify users were able to change the colors behind our profiles to show more creativity by adapting this feature.

A way for this to work is clicking on the three dots 

that opens your spotify code on your profile, above or below that, you can choose what you'd like your profile color to be. It would sync just as your profile would across devices and other users could see it too. 

It's up to Spotify if it should be desktop or mobile only, I'd prefer both.

I'm afraid this feature isn't possible at the moment, but I could see how this can be useful. You can always create a new Idea about this here, and I'll also pass your feedback on to the right folks.

I found out about this a couple of years ago but came here to look for a better way, so the colour of your background actually depends on the length of your username for example mine is "fa^3" which is four characters long, and four characters = blue. 

it once used to be "fa^3___" which is seven, seven I believe is beige or something like that. so just edit your username until you find what colour you want.

There is no "official" solution to this but i found that if you go to edit your name, delete your name and then rewrite it, it will assign you a random color, play around till you get the color you like👍
