My Question or Issue

I'm using IOS15.5 on an Iphone SE MKI with the latest version of Spotify 8.7.46.1678. The autoplay feature is not working. I've updated to the latest version of my IOS as well as the Spotify app. Logged out and back in. Deleted and re-installed the app and every other suggestion found here on the community. Autoplay still does not work.

Or perhaps I am not understanding how the feature actually works. Please explain what the criteria is for autoplay to work as expected.

Hey @carlito143,

Welcome to the Spotify Community and sorry for the late response as we just came across this thread.

We appreciate the troubleshooting you've done so far and for sharing this info. The Autoplay feature allows your Spotify app to play similar songs at the end of an album or playlist. This option can be toggled on and off in your settings, but the process varies between devices. For more info, check out our Autoplay article.

However, to continue investigating your case, could you include in your next response more details about the issue you’re currently having with Autoplay? This will give us a better understanding of what the problem could be.

We’ll be on the lookout.

I'm also experiencing this same issue on different devices (PC - Windows 11, Iphone - IOS 15.5, Android - OS 11). Whenever I seach and play a song it just stops after that.

I also tried reinstalling the app on different devices, clearing spotify cache, logging in and out, and of course turning on the Autoplay setting but nothing works.

Hi there @mountaindrew404,

Thank you for your reply and for the detailed information. You've done a great job with the troubleshooting so far!

Can you have someone log in with their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member to see if the issue persists? This will help us understand if it's account related or not.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Have a great continued weekend 🙂

Live, love, laugh and listen to music 🙂

I don't know how else to explain everything I've already explained. Based on all the other users' comments on the autoplay feature, it clearly indicates that it does not work as it should. What more should I say about it?

Hey @carlito143,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

As we're unable to reproduce the described issue on our end, we have to ask you to try different troubleshooting steps, because the issue is not wide spread and seems to be related to a specific device setup.

Could you try reproducing the issue with a different account on your mobile device? Have you also tried connecting to a different network?

Let us know how that went,

Cheers!
