After years of a perfectly shuffle, it stopped ~6 months ago. Playing the same 6-10 songs over and over again. All sugested workarounds here or elsewhere in the web _do not_ work at all. Logging out, wiping the local data, deinstalling the app, device restart, clean install, ...
So - What is Spotify doing to get it fixed now?
From what I've learned searching for solutions over the last weeks: I'm definitely not the only one facing those issues.
(Hint for Sonos-users: Their app works fine for Spotify incl. shuffle!)
(Bonus: I'm typing this again since you portal here posted an error after klicking "post" ...)

We're sorry to hear that you had difficulties posting. We recommend that you clear the cache and cookies of your browser, that should help avoid getting such errors from now on.
We appreciate your feedback about the shuffle function and will make sure that it reaches the right team. In the meantime you can add your support for this idea. It requests advanced shuffle options that stop specific content from playing again in a certain timeframe. We'll inform on any developments there, if there are any.
