My spotify queue has not been working correctly. When I add or change the order of the songs in my queue/up next, spotify continues to play in the same order they originally were in. This is happening to everyone on my family plan. This issue is very frustrating to all of us, and none of us can find a solution. We’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restarting our phones, and even completely resetting our phones. This issue has persisted for about 3 weeks.

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next!

 

Edit: Can you confirm you're having the same issue as these users? 🙂

As per my original post, we have all tried restarting our devices several
times. Tried again to check, still to no avail. We are all running iOS
11.4.1 and Spotify 8.4.70.686. Thanks

Try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

Does this happen if you guys sign into each others devices? Have you tried another network connection as well?

No dice. And yes to both your questions. I’ve included pictures of one of
the more annoying parts of this bug. As you can see, the song i’m currently
listening to is not reflected in my up next view, which does not update at
all.
