Changing Country Code in Profile - HELP

My country code is listed as Germany but I have never lived there. I am from the US and now live in Brunei. I have tried chaning my country in the profile settings but it will not allow me to. The only country it shows is Germany. Why is it not allowing me to change countries?

Hello @meaganmitrovich, welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

Maybe is something wrong with your IP, use this tool to check if your IP matches the country set on your profile.

If it does, you won't be able to change it, if doesn't match and you can't change it you should contact with Spotify Consumer Support filling this contact form.

 

If you receive an automated email that leads you back to the community or help pages, reply to it (even if it's from "no-reply") and one of the Spotify team members will get back to you as soon as possible.

Don't forget to check your Spam Box 😉

 

 

Thank you for responding so quickly! I checked the IP address and it says Brunei so I'll call the customer support and have them help me.
