“Couldn’t open link” message

“Couldn’t open link” message

Getting this error anytime someone shares a song link with me via the iOS messages app. Worked fine yesterday.

how do I fix this issue so I can open Spotify links that people share with me?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

 

Does this only happen when you try to open a link? Or do you get the message when doing anything else from the Spotify app? If you haven't tried, we recommend performing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app by following these steps. No worries, you won't lose any content, but you might need to download your offline music again.

 

If that doesn't help, could you try logging in with a different account on your device and check if you get the same error? If you don't have another account, you can ask a relative or friend to log in with their account for a bit and check.
