My Question or Issue

I download playlists and it appeared they all downloaded (had green arrows beside them) but then when I went in to play them offline, they had grey arrows and weren't downloaded.  This was earlier, now when I went in, they had green arrows again.  I don't know what happened or what this means....

Hey @Jennrn74,

Please confirm that the song by a DJ is a local file which is not on Spotify.

Also, can you share the URIs of the other two songs, as well as the country which you're located in so that I can check if those songs are available in your country? If you can't find the URI of the songs, select the song you're referring to > Select the 3 ellipsis '...' > Share > Copy Link.

Then post the link here and I'll take a look at them 🙂

Keep me posted!

Hey @Jennrn74, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

I'll be happy to help you.

Could you try logging out > restart device > log back in?

Let me know how this goes 🙂

Hey!
Initially it worked and it said they were all downloaded. Until today when I upgraded my iOS and now four playlists have said they aren't downloaded again. I tried to logout and reboot and log back in but it still says they aren't downloaded

Hey @Jennrn74,

Thanks for getting back to me!

Could you try a clean reinstall of the app?

Hey!
So it seemed to be working so far. This morning, two started downloading songs again. I'm wondering, if you've downloaded and they add more songs to that playlist, would that make the list start downloading again after I opened Spotify?

Hey @Jennrn74,

Thanks for the reply!

To help with your question regarding the two playlists which are still downloading songs, could you let me know:

  1. Are the two playlists Spotify playlists or personal playlists?
  2. For those two playlists, are all the songs re-downloading, or only some?

Keep me posted 🙂

Hey,
So I went back in tonight and now there are three that show they aren't downloaded, but when I scroll through the playlists, all the songs have green arrows and appear to have been downloaded.
One is by a DJ and the other two are by Spotify. Kidcutup- Beautiful Trauma tour, All our 90's and I love my 90's hip-hop
