My Question or Issue

I am a free user so I don't feel like I have much say and most of the users I see posting are premium users but I use my laptop to listen a lot and am grateful that I can pick single songs to play immediately and I accept the ads but the remote function from my mobile app (iOS) to control Spotify on my laptop used to let me do the same and pick the exact song to play through my laptop without getting up and opening it and stuff but lately it has only allowed me to pick an entire shuffle playlist to play on my computer. I’m not sure if it is a setting issue between the devices or if Spotify removed that partial capability to free users but it has really disrupted my listening and has turned me down from playing music without my laptop. If anyone would know the answer please help.
