This thread is an attempt to capture how many people are experiencing problems with the spotify iphone app.

If you are experiencing regular crashing problems with the iphone spotify app, please write which iphone model you have, which IOS and which version of spotify you are running and finally if your iphone is jailbroken. Also include approximatly  how often the crashes occur per playing time

Please only post once to this thread so its easy to count the number of people having this problem.

In some respects, this is like a petition.

SPOTIFY VERSION: 0.5.2.374

APPROX CRASH FREQUENCY: Every 40 mins of playing time

JAILBROKEN: YES

iPhone 4s jailbroken

Crashes as soon as the app states. No splash screen, no list of music, nothing but a white screen when it's opens and then it crashs to the home screen. This only happened after the latest update. Please fix this soon - this really sucks.

The newest update doesn't work in my iPhone 4 (OS 6)... At first it let me try logging in, now that I've reinstalled it I'm getting a blank screen which eventually crashes. It doesn't even go to the login screen anymore. How can I get the previous version???

I am experiencing crashes on the latest build, 0.7.2.26. It has happened several times today while adding a song to a playlist. Also, a separate issue, sometimes the play under current station is unresponsive. This is very frustrating, and I wonder if the premium service is worth paying for. I'm running iphone on the latest version of iOS 6 on an iphone 5, so everything is up to date.

The app simply exits in the middle of songs. Some times it does not happen and some times it happens all the time (every minute or so). Even when the app is running it has problems with freezing. Took me 12 minuttes to find and start the Jeff Buckley album.

Works so bad I it is useless. Sure want pay for Spotify premium when my trial period is over if this is not fixed 😞

the app worked fine and today just crashes every time I try open it. I've rebooted the iPhone; I've deleted, rebooted, reinstalled, and nothing. I have the crash report identifying data appended below. I'm at a loss?

Still solution for the app crashing problem. I've done everything but a factory reset of my iPhone which is it an option for me. I hope it gets sorted soon otherwise ill have to find another music app 😞

I've been having problems for a while now. I think ever since the 'Discover' thing came into existence.

The problems have been on both my iPhone 4, running the latest version of Spotify, whatever that is (recent updates haven't solved the issue), and running the new iOS (7.0.2 I think), and my iPhone 5 too, although not quite as often. That phone is also fully up to date.

YES, I've tried a hard reset. YES, I've tried deleting and re-downloading.

Please Spotify, I give you a lot of my money. SORT IT OUT!!!!

my spotify crashes too. When I start spotify and play a song, it begins really slow and stutters. I can't click anything. Sometimes it takes a long time for my ipod to crash and be turned off, but in that time you can't do anything.

Then, when my ipod is turned on again, and I play spotify, then the app works perfectly! 

Only i'm afraid that my ipod will crash and go black forever so any help?

@ellistolsma2 - It might be worth updating your iOS to iOS 6 so you can run the most up to date Spotify app (since iOS 5 application support has ended).

Just saying,

Since Facebook updated their whole privacy passwords etc it logs out automatically would that effect the app if you have it linked up to Facebook?

But my app keeps crashing constantly... Love the app and won't stray away but reimbursement should be due if it persists.
