My Question or Issue

 

Hi,

 

I have a certain problem where whenever I click on a new song with the repeat button on, it turns off automatically and doesn’t repeat the new song once it finishes, but changes to reccomended songs.

 

Is this part of a new update, or is the spotify app having problems on apple devices,? Im having frustrations everytime the song ends and the repeat button doesn’t work when changing a new song.

I don’t have a computer right now, it’s just on my iPhone X iOS 16.7.7, Spotify iOS app version 8.9.32.586.  It wont let me upload a screen recording bc it’s the wrong format. But if I have a song one repeat one, and then click on another song to play it switches the repeat preference back to cycle and sometimes no preference.

This problem is occurring on both my phone and my computer. Both apps are up to date, clean reinstalls on both. Seems like a bad feature you've added rather than a glitch

I am having this issue on my phone and my laptop. It continuously changes.

I am on Windows and Android. Having this issue is quite annoying.

its not working at all of me, I press my song, press the repeat button, make sure the 1 isn't there but it still just go to the next one after the song is done. Can't get it to work at all. Now I have to press put in queue repedetly, which is annoying. Before I could just go into the next in line and keep dubbeling to my heats content. But they removed that feature. Im on premium btw.

@Zoro101Law, If you haven't yet, we'd recommend you clean reinstall the app on the affected device. That way, you can make sure you're running the latest version and that the stored cache is not leading to the repeat button not working properly.

 

If issues persist afterwards, we'll need to gather some info. Be aware we'll need you to send us said info for us to continue investigating. Please send us:

  • The make/model and OS of the affected device(s).
  • The exact Spotify version you're running there.
  • All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
  • Did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update?
  • A video recording of this behavior. You can attach the video to your next reply in mp4 format, or upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and make it public.

@Nightenstar, just to confirm, are you still experiencing issues? If yes, please send us the info mentioned above.
