Spotify not playing on iOS app

Spotify won't play music from iOS app. seemingly no reason for this as I have memory left on device, and updated software. Tried clearing cache data, and restarting device. Songs will say they are playing but will not move past 0:00 on the sing progress bar

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps.
