some of the songs i have on my laptop that i added to a playlist my phone wont sync with or pick up

Hi, and welcome to the community!

 

Make sure you're following the steps outlined here.

If it still doesn't pick it up, try running Spotify as an administrator, and temporarily disabling your AV, as sometimes AV firewalls block the 2 from connecting.
