Anyone know if its possible to transfer playlists from Spotify to other music streaming services? I remember trying one of the others a free month some time ago, perhaps Tidal, and it was very similar to Spotify. The only thing i liked better was the various recomendation lists etc that Spotify now has hidden away so theres really no reason to keep Spotify if they dont change it back.

Care to explain how exactly switching back to desktop will fix uncomfortable and frustrating UX in mobile version and why people should not consider cancelling in case their favored platform for spotify got gimped by lame UX?

Oh wow! After making the spotify app unusable on a mobile (both iphone and ipad) with tik tok like UI, You guys REMOVED "recently played" tab from CarPlay app ???

Seriously - what is going on with You? There is no way to discover new music (unless You spend a lot of time digging), UI is beyond terrible, recommendation algorithm is getting worse and worse and now CarPlay is stripped from the most used option (which is also a safety feature)

If you have an update available on the App Store today then try installing it. I just have and my Home Screen is back to how it was! The enhanced option has disappeared from the liked songs playlist, and so have lyrics, but I can live with this as long as I don’t have to scroll through that awful interface.

Breathing a sigh of relief. Not going to count my chickens though. Would like to hear an official statement that the feature is either not coming back or is going to have an on/off switch in future.

What version do you have?  It appears it may be account specific.  I just downloaded iOS 8.8.15 (I had deleted the app) which shows it went live 4 hours ago, but the changes are NOT reverted on my account.

Mine says 8.8.15.609

I wonder if the beta test was on a timer or something. I got the bad update exactly 3 weeks ago and the reverted version today.

3 week trial maybe?

Thanks, I appreciate you checking.  I confirmed mine is 8.8.15.609 as well.  I logged into a different account on my Family plan and it does NOT have the terrible update.  But unfortunately my personal primary account (the oldest account and on the same Family plan) still DOES have the terrible update. 

I guess I'll check back in 3 weeks 🤣

oi mates what's up with the tags my comment is just a suggestion not like you have to switch all it was to know that you can go to the computer version if you want too but im not saying to tell you to switch and yes that was rude to put those there

Yeah I’m happy for now but something tells me this isn’t over yet. I’ll be back on Spotify tomorrow so the analytics will clearly show the difference in usage between versions. But not cancelling my Apple Music trial yet just in case.

Absolutely horrible and will be swapping to Apple Music because of this **bleep** UI. Happy to join this thread so we have a good chance of being heard.

Home Screen beta attempt… This will end my patronage of Spotify at month's end.   Three customers gone. 

this is completely unusable, and I’m the only one I’ve discussed this with that use the same app with the same new beta version.

Mine reverted back too! Woohoo. Still left a bitter taste and will stick to a free account for a while, testing other services in the meantime. Spotify lost a die hard fan.

You know, I don’t fully understand this approach. They want to have paying fans, yet decide to run experiments on them. At least ask them to opt-in.
