I noticed when there are no items lined up in the queue, and it’s only the currently playing item, then the play/pause button is way too close to the edge. I already wasted time with livechat support who are unable to inform the developers.
Please fix this:
Looks fine when items are lined up for queue, and normal distance to the edge:
Plus the buttons are misaligned. The play/pause button and the button below =
On Android phones however they’re aligned correctly. Please fix these issues for iOS.

Hi there @-Karma-,
Thanks for reaching out and reporting this to us. We've moved your post here where it better fits.
This behaviour is quite strange but we tested it on our end and were able to reproduce it and found the following - initially starting the app and playing something without items in the queue makes the issue occur, but if something is loaded into the queue and then if I a track is played without anything in the queue, the button gets fixed to its regular positions. In other words, playing with something in the queue first resets the button and everything should work fine afterwards with or without any items in the queue.
If the behaviour is more persistent, we recommend trying a full clean reinstall to clear any damaged cache that might be causing this. These steps are known to resolve a multitude of issues, so hopefully this is also one of them.
Hope this helps.
Hi Joan,
Are you please going to look into the misaligned buttons in my second comment there? On Android it looks proper, but not the iOS app.
Hi @-Karma-,
Thanks for the reply.
As for the play button, we were able to narrow down when the behaviour occurs, so please consult my previous comment for info about that. As for the three dashes menu, this one seems to be consistently misaligned, so we've reported this internally to get it looked into. Could you please send us the iPhone model, iOS and Spotify version you use? This will greatly aid our investigation.
Hope this clears things up.
Appreciate that! Hope they will fix the misalignment.
My info:
•iPhone 16 Pro Max
•iOS 26.0.1
• Spotify version 9.0.86
Also please note that I own an Android phone aswell, and on the Spotify Android app the buttons are positioned perfectly below one another, and there is no misalignment there. Only the iOS app is affected.
Hey there @-Karma-,
Would you mind letting us know if this is still an issue for you on iOS?
We'll be on the lookout.
Hi Novy.
Thanks for checking back with me.
Yes the latest iOS version of Spotify (v 9.0.98) the issue still exists. The three „–„ are still off in the queue layout. See screenshot below. They still don’t sit perfectly aligned below the round play/pause button.
