I noticed when there are no items lined up in the queue, and it’s only the currently playing item, then the play/pause button is way too close to the edge. I already wasted time with livechat support who are unable to inform the developers.
Please fix this:
Looks fine when items are lined up for queue, and normal distance to the edge:
Plus the buttons are misaligned. The play/pause button and the button below =
On Android phones however they’re aligned correctly. Please fix these issues for iOS.

Hi there @-Karma-,
Thanks for reaching out and reporting this to us. We've moved your post here where it better fits.
This behaviour is quite strange but we tested it on our end and were able to reproduce it and found the following - initially starting the app and playing something without items in the queue makes the issue occur, but if something is loaded into the queue and then if I a track is played without anything in the queue, the button gets fixed to its regular positions. In other words, playing with something in the queue first resets the button and everything should work fine afterwards with or without any items in the queue.
If the behaviour is more persistent, we recommend trying a full clean reinstall to clear any damaged cache that might be causing this. These steps are known to resolve a multitude of issues, so hopefully this is also one of them.
Hope this helps.
Hi Joan,
Are you please going to look into the misaligned buttons in my second comment there? On Android it looks proper, but not the iOS app.
Hi @-Karma-,
Thanks for the reply.
As for the play button, we were able to narrow down when the behaviour occurs, so please consult my previous comment for info about that. As for the three dashes menu, this one seems to be consistently misaligned, so we've reported this internally to get it looked into. Could you please send us the iPhone model, iOS and Spotify version you use? This will greatly aid our investigation.
Hope this clears things up.
Appreciate that! Hope they will fix the misalignment.
My info:
•iPhone 16 Pro Max
•iOS 26.0.1
• Spotify version 9.0.86
Also please note that I own an Android phone aswell, and on the Spotify Android app the buttons are positioned perfectly below one another, and there is no misalignment there. Only the iOS app is affected.
Hey there @-Karma-,
Would you mind letting us know if this is still an issue for you on iOS?
We'll be on the lookout.
Hi Novy.
Thanks for checking back with me.
Yes the latest iOS version of Spotify (v 9.0.98) the issue still exists. The three „–„ are still off in the queue layout. See screenshot below. They still don’t sit perfectly aligned below the round play/pause button.
Hey @-Karma-,
Thanks for the patience!
Some changes have been implemented backstage so we wanted to check if there's any improvement on your end?
Keep us posted.
Hi Dessi. No unfortunately the buttons still look off and aren’t properly aligned.
Also I use the on now playing lyrics and when the video button is there it overlaps with the lyrics. Where can I escalate this visual issue?
Hey @-Karma-,
Thanks for the quick reply!
We've let our tech folks know that you're still experiencing this issue, but are unable to provide an ETA for a fix at this time. Rest assured this will remain on our internal teams' radar. In the meantime, make sure you're always running the latest version of Spotify so you don't miss out on any updates.
When it comes to the second issue you mentioned about the Switch to video button overlapping with the lyrics lines, it could be connected to the initial issue you've described, but we weren't able to reproduce this and haven't seen any other reports about it. That's why we wanted to double-check if you might be using any third-party apps or have some additional settings turned on your device, which have to do with your display and how things appear?
