Hi, 

With the new flexibility of IOS16 would it possible to update the widgets to be more in line with Androids - specifically showing now playing as well as having media controls on the widget

Thanks for reaching out. We've moved your post to the Help section as it better fits here.

The Spotify widget for iOS should show the currently played track and give you the ability to play/pause and switch songs. If that's not the case on your end, please send us your Spotify app version along with a screenshot of the widget so we can investigate further.
