My Question or Issue

Could we please get the option to have a coloured widget instead of having the solid black colour only with dark mode on iOS? The coloured option is so much nicer.

Spotify constantly strives to improve the user experience with its features and the easiest way to achieve this is by regular app updates. That's why we appreciate you taking the time to share your suggestion about colored widget.

In addition, it seems like the Community folks have already created an Idea about this. If you'd like to see it implemented in the app, we'd suggest that you check this suggestion here. Make sure you leave your vote to support it, so that it would have a better chance of being considered, as Spotify always strives to improve your experience.

In case you want to see colors corresponding to the playlist/album colors on Spotify widget - give this suggestion here a thumbs up as well.

The Spotify Home Screen widget for iOS now shows color again when Dark Mode is turned on

Make sure to update to the latest version of the iOS app 8.9.26 to see this change
