iPad Sync

iPad Sync

Hi,

I installed the Spotify App on my iPad 3 and thought it was brilliant.  So I created a playlist and downloaded a load of music (6Gb or so) for later use.  After the 48 hour initial period expired I found I could no longer play any of the stuff I had downloaded (which I kind of expected).

Now that I've signed up for the Premium version, I expected to be able to play all the files I had downloaded.  But even though the Spotify App is still taking up 6Gb of space on my iPad (according to Settings -> General -> Usage), none of the music I downloaded is available offline.  if I go into the playlist all the Albums say "0 of 20 tracks synced" (or whatever number of tracks are on that particular album) whereas previously it said "20 tracks" and had a green downloaded arrow on the top left hand corner of the album artwork image.  It appears to be be trying to re-download all the music that was previously downloaded.  This seems a complete waste of network activity when the music is already on the iPad somewhere.

My question is this: How can I access the music I already downloaded?

Any help is gratefully received.

I am having the same problem...I noticed you posted this a week ago, have you found the solution yet?

No, I never received any response.

I ended up just downloading the stuff all over again.

Very disappointing.

Ash
