Solved!! Bitrate when playing synced songs while online?

I have set the quality of my synced songs to "Extreme". What I'm wondering is whether or not they get played in that quality while I'm listening to them online, or if it's only when I'm in Offline Mode?

Solved!! cannot organize music by artist on Spotify app on ipod touch

I have a few thousand songs, and I don't want to make a seperate playlist for each artist. Why can't they allow you to organize your one playlist by artists like you can do on your computer? It doesn't work with the ipod touch application. HELP!
