Hello,
I recently got notified by Paypal over a 0.01 € transaction to premium-gbp@spotify.com so i got a bit distrustful and just wanted to ask if this transaction is actually from Spotify and when yes, why?
thanks in advance.

Hey @user-removed
Just to clarify, the £0.01 charge you're seeing is an authorization check that will be refunded to your account shortly.
Hello @user-removed,
Have you recently subscribed yourself to Premium and payed with PayPal?
Cheers,
Vincent
thanks for the quick answere,
No my subscription is about 9 month old.
Hi there and welcome to the community,
As the transfer came from a @spotify.com e-mailaddress, I assume that it's from a legit source.
A 0.01 transaction is commonly used for validating your payment details. I can ask someone from Spotify for clarification.

thanks,
I know that it is used for validation but i recentlyed heard that some thiefs use that to check if the paypal account is watched and if nothing happens they will take more. It would be great if you could check this.
many thanks, Littellittel

For some reason it cost me two one cents. So there were two once cent transactions , both on the same day and time.
