Account Problem

So basically, one day I get on my phone, open my spotify, and it automatically has me logged out. I click on "log in without password", because I forgot my password. So it sends me to the email page and I click on the "Go to Spotify" which is supposed to help me finish logging in. But it brings me back to the page, telling me the link is no longer valid. I do this another 3 times, and it continues bringing up the same message. "The link is no longer valid". 

I hop onto my computer and click on "Reset password". It brings me to where I'm supposed to enter my email. I enter my email (I know its the correct email because I was using spotify yesterday) and it says "The username or email you provided is not associated with an active Spotify account." I don't know why its saying that because I was just on my spotify account with "keep me logged in" on. I tried it a few more times, and figured my account probably got deleted or something happened to it. So I try creating a new account with the same email, but it says its already linked to another account. So now I'm pretty much stuck because I can't login and I can't get my password. Help?

I'm just jumping in here to let you know that it won't be possible to create a new account with the email address from the old one if the old account hasn't been deleted.

Note: If you close your account, you should wait up until 30 days before you could use the email address that was connected to it for a new account.
