Account hijacked

Hello dear spotify community,

it seems yesterday someone got access to my spotify account,

probably due to my weak password and also changed the email address of the account.

I tried contacting spotify support not long ago by filling a form, but the form said

they will send an email to the current email address to which I have no access to.

I then sent another form telling them to reset the email address to my previous address.

I'm only able to login right now through Facebook Connect.

Is there anything else I can do?

Welcome to the community!

The only who can help for account hijacking issues is the Spotify Support Team. Since you already filled out the contact form and received a reply, just reply back to that same email and explain what's going on.

I believe they have a separate team that will handle your concern. They will help you get your account back. Just make sure to provide all the details to make it easier for both you and them (e.g. your username).
