Cannot make a gift in another country

I'm using spotify in Germany and would like to make a gift premium subscription for someone in Spain. I bought the code, but unfortunately, the person who is getting the gift cannot use it in his country (code is not valid error). Any suggestions?

Hey @ailuqet! Welcome to the Spotify Community. ^^

You'll need to use the card in the country in which you purchased it. If you try to redeem outside of the country you purchased in, it will not work. -.-
