Cannot switch to Japan even after launch

Hi!

I have been informed that spotify should have released in Japan so I want to update my account's country to Japan because I live here now. The problem is that when I follow the procedures for changing my country Japan does not appear in the list of countries even after I have added a Japanese credit card.

Is there anything I can do or do I have to cancel the subscription?

Same problem. Have a US account but now live in Japan but now I can't change country. And my ip address is japanese!

I had a Spotify account back when I lived in the US, and now want to start using this old account only now in japan. There is a troubleshooting column that assists you with this, but you are asked for an invitation code - something which can only be granted if your email address has not been used before for membership (of course it has beeen used since that's exactly why i want to continue using my previous account, only in a different country).
To put it simple, all I want to use is my old account in Japan. How do i do this?

Hi, Spotify, welcome to Japan.

I have a premium account from the US.  If I switch to Japanese premium account, would I lose any of the music that I can listen to now?  I tend to dig into SSW, Americana and alt-country genre, and pretty young and emerging musicinas.

It is not quite the same but I have the similar problem to the one posted by an user before (https://community.spotify.com/t5/Accounts-and-Subscriptions/I-can-not-select-the-country-where-I-am/...).

I made my account today in Japan, and tried to change my e-mail address at the profile editting page. I couldn't make it because the country where I am was not selected. 

However, it was impossive to select Japan; Japan does not appear on the list of the countries! (See the screen shots of the country list attached on this reply. Sorry they're not in English but Japanese)

I hope Japan will be added to it very soon.

Same problem. I even received an email with an invitation code and it won't let me redeem it.

same here ... I am a user of the German premium version of Spotify and wanted to change the country which requires entering a Japanese credit card which I have (Rakuten) ... it tells me that "Apparently Spotify is not yet available in the country where your card is registered" or something like that.

Please fix asap!!
