Connecting Account to Facebook - ISSUE

The Spotify account that I used was made as a gift, and I would really like to connect it to my personal Facebook so I can be searched via my name. Unfortunately, I get this beautiful message...

"Sorry there has been a temporary error, please try again later." 

I gave it time, used different browsers, unlinked Spotify from my Facebook, etc. Nothing is working. PLEASE HELP!
