Deactivated facebook

I deactivated my facebook. In order to use my current profile on my phone, it forces me to reactivate my facebook. I try to change my login info here but it forces me back to facebook. I don't want to have to deactivate this account and start all over, especially given I've already paid for this month. Help pleaseeeeeee

Did you use facebook to create your account?

If not, login to Spotify Desktop and unlink facebook from within the app (Preferences > Disconnect from Facebook).

After that you'll be able to deactivate facebook, and you'll need to use your spotify username/password to login.

If your account was created with facebook credentials, you'll need to open a new account.

I suggest creating it with a different email address from the one used for facebook. You'll be able to pick a spotify username / password.

You'll now have a Free account, so the next step is to contact customer support so they can transfer everything from your old account to the new one.

They'll help you out, and you'll get your library, playlists, friends, subscription, etc. transfered to your new account.
